Botox® vs. Dysport®

Dysport® takes action in two to five days, while Botox® works in four to seven days.
Botox® vs. Fillers
Botox® and dermal fillers can both treat lines and wrinkles. Both provide a temporary smoothing of the area, but they work very differently. Dermal fillers add volume, correcting wrinkles in places where the skin has loosened due to volume loss. Botox® cannot treat wrinkles caused by sagging since it works on muscles and nerves. Botox® works for expression lines, while dermal fillers replace lost volume to fill out wrinkles.
What Results Can I Expect From Botox®?
You will see your results from Botox® appear in four to seven days, and these results should last three to four months. To maintain your wrinkle-free appearance, you can schedule ongoing treatments, so your Botox® keeps working.
Is There Any Downtime with Botox®?
You can go back to all your usual activities after Botox®. You may see some redness or minor bruises near the injection sites, but this will fade away quickly. All you need to do is wait a few days for your lines and wrinkles to start disappearing.
