Victoria Smithers, MD

Dr. Smithers has been the Medical Director of Juvanew Medspa since its opening. Board-certified in family medicine for over 15 years, Dr. Smithers provides care to the entire family at Harbor Heights Family Medicine. Dr. Smithers devotes part of her practice to diagnosing and treating disorders of the skin. In addition, Dr. Smithers volunteers at an indigent clinic. In her free time, she enjoys an active lifestyle, including hiking, skydiving, camping, swimming, cooking, and medical mission trips.

Terry McBay, RN

Nurse Injector, Laser Professional
Terry founded Juvanew Medspa with her daughter, Amanda Rampy, in January 2009. As a nurse for 30 years who delights in continuing education, she is an Advanced Injector and loves all aspects of “facial sculpting” with Botox and fillers. Clients say that she has an artist’s eye when it comes to injectables. Terry was drawn to the aesthetic industry due to a personal history of skin cancers and a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. To her, “connecting with clients and helping them feel better about themselves is what Juvanew Medspa is all about.”

As a 50+ female, Terry not only understands but also personally relates to aging skin concerns. Her skincare routine includes her Clarisonic brush, SkinCeuticals and Jane Iredale products at home. Terry maintains her skin with monthly chemical peels and medium laser peels every 2 years. In her free time, Terry enjoys reading, riding her scooter and traveling.

Amanda Byrd, FNP-BC

Nurse Injector, Laser Professional
As the manager of Juvanew Medspa since 2009, Amanda takes pleasure in educating clients about proper home care as well as performing results-oriented skincare treatments. Amanda relates to clients of all ages and has a special gift with teen skincare challenges since she previously suffered from acne. When asked about working with clients, she said she “loves helping clients look and feel beautiful for big events like weddings, homecomings, and reunions.”

Amanda’s favorite treatment to perform is Lip Enhancement with Fillers. Amanda’s personal regimen includes facials, Botox, BBL PhotoFacials, and her favorite SkinCeuticals products, such as Phloretin CF Gel and Daily Moisture.

Amanda graduated Cum Laude from Furman University in Greenville, SC, with a Bachelors degree in biology and received her Bachelors of Science in nursing at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas. She has coauthored published medical studies that include melanoma research and has a background in critical care nursing. In her free time, Amanda is an avid reader and enjoys live theater, traveling, and time with family and friends.

Lynda Sanabria

Spa Coordinator & CoolSculpting Technician

Lynda is the Spa Coordinator & CoolSculpting Technician at Juvanew Medspa. She joined the team in 2016. Lynda attended CoolSculpting University in California and prides herself in achieving life-changing results. Lynda’s clients value her honesty, compassion and attention to detail. Her nickname is the CoolSculpting Queen. Lynda has a passion for excellence and a genuine heart for everyone who walks into Juvanew Medspa.

In addition to CoolSculpting, Lynda’s favorite treatments to receive at Juvanew Medspa are Botox, facials & Halo treatments. Her favorite products to use at home are SkinCeuticals MicroExfoliating Scrub & PCA Silkcoat Balm. In her free time, Lynda enjoys spending time outdoors and watching movies.

Natasha Barton, LE, CLT

Licensed Esthetician & Certified Laser Technician

Natasha, Licensed Esthetician & Certified Laser Technician, has always had a passion for the beauty industry and aesthetics. She received her aesthetics license from I.T.S. in 2009 and her laser certification at National Laser Institute in 2018. She joined the Juvanew Medspa team in 2017.

Natasha loves working one on one with people and truly cares for her clients’ skin health. Natasha’s advanced training and education includes HydraFacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, laser hair removal, ThermiVa, CoolSculpting, and a variety of skincare and makeup products.

Natasha’s clients appreciate her 10 years of experience & knowledge. Her favorite treatment to perform is the HydraFacial, and she loves seeing client’s skin transformed over time with a personalized treatment plan. In her days off, Natasha enjoys time crafting and being with her family at the lake.

Shannon_juvanew Rockwall Tx

Shannon Grubbs, LE

Licensed Esthetician & Laser Technician

Shannon, Licensed Esthetician & Laser Technician, joined the Juvanew Medspa team in 2018. She attended Renee’s Cosmetology School in Dallas and received her aesthetic license in 1988. Shannon’s advanced training includes HydraFacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, laser & photofacial treatments, and a variety of skincare and makeup products.

Shannon considers it a blessing and privilege to work with people, to educate them and help them achieve their skincare goals for healthy, beautiful skin. Her favorite treatment to perform (and to have done personally) is the PhotoFacial. Shannon’s favorite products to use at home are SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic & Triple Lipid Restore, PCA Skin Ideal Eye Cream, and Oxygenetix Foundation. When not at Juvanew, Shannon enjoys painting, shopping, and spending time with her two daughters.

Morgan Ward

Licensed Esthetician

Morgan joined the Juvanew Medspa team in 2021. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Behavioral Health. She attended the Aveda Institute of Esthetics in 2018 and has loved taking great care of her clients’ skin ever since. She also gained extensive knowledge about skin while working in a dermatology practice.

Morgan never meets a stranger and loves a challenge when it comes to clients’ skincare goals. When she is not working, Morgan enjoys attending Texas Country concerts with her husband and spending time with her 4 dogs and horse.  

Chris Moore

Client Coordinator

Chris joined the Juvanew Medspa team in 2019. Chris has worked in the healthcare industry for 6 years and was drawn to Juvanew Medspa because of its warm, welcoming and fun atmosphere.
 
Chris loves to see the transformation of clients’ skin over time with our professional treatments and products. His favorite products to use at home are SkinCeuticals’ Simply Clean, Silymarin CF, and AGE Eye Complex, as well as Clearskin by PCA Skin. His favorite procedures to receive are the SkinCeuticals Smart TCA Peel, Botox, and PRP Hair Restoration.
 
When Chris isn’t at Juvanew Medspa, you can find him listening to the live music in Dallas, travelling to music festivals with his friends, or playing video games on his computer. He’s a soon-to-be father of a Red Lab puppy named Entei.
