How Does The Haloâ„¢ Laser Work?

The Haloâ„¢ Laser by Sciton is a unique cosmetic treatment that combines both ablative and non-ablative laser treatments to produce your most gorgeous complexion possible. The Haloâ„¢ Laser is designed to tackle some of your most common complexion complaints, including sun damage, enlarged pores, wrinkles and fine lines, uneven skin tone, and more. The laser uses ablative wavelengths to gently exfoliate the surface of the dermis, while the non-ablative wavelength penetrates the dermis to stimulate long-term collagen production.

Am I a Good Candidate For Haloâ„¢ Laser Treatments?

You’re a good candidate for Halo™ Laser treatments if you have skin symptoms associated with aging and sun damage, including wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and even acne scarring. You should be a healthy non-smoker with realistic expectations for this procedure.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

Your Halo™ laser treatment will usually take about an hour to perform. You may need to undergo more than one Halo™ laser treatment to see your ideal results, depending on what complexion issue you’d like to treat.

What Results Will I See?*

You’ll see results as soon as a week after your treatment, but your final results can be seen about three weeks after the Halo™ procedure, as this gives your skin time to shed dead skin cells and increase cellular turnover.

Is There Any Downtime?

There’s no downtime associated with your Halo™ Laser treatment; however, you may notice swelling for 1 to 3 days and that your skin looks red and flaky for the first 1 to 3 weeks after your treatment. Our skincare experts have great tips to minimize this redness & swelling so you can quickly resume your normal routine. Ask us about the Oxygenetix Foundation! It’s important to wear sunscreen after your treatment, as your skin will be especially sensitive to the sun’s UV rays.
