How Does PRP Hair Restoration Work?
Your PRP hair restoration treatment begins with your Juvanew provider taking a sample of your blood. Spinning this blood in a centrifuge separates it into layers, including the one containing platelets. This layer becomes your PRP injections. We add growth-stimulating serums to enhance your results.
Your provider will use PPR injections into the affected areas of your scalp. When injected, PRP signals your dormant hair follicles to reawaken. It also signals new blood vessel formation that brings more blood and nutrients to the area for healthier, thicker hair.
PRP results take some time to work. You will receive a series of treatments that will awaken resting hair follicles. Your reawakened follicles will start to grow new hairs, and other follicles will grow thicker, healthier-looking hair. Without medications or side effects, your thinning areas will develop full, healthy hair growth from your own follicles.
Is There Any Downtime After PRP Hair Restoration?
You will receive several PRP injections during treatment, so your scalp may feel mildly swollen and sensitive for about 24 hours. Avoid using harsh products or scrubbing your scalp during this time. You can return to all your usual activities after treatment, including your exercise routine.
