About CoolSculpting®

Preparation
There’s very little required of you to prepare for a CoolSculpting® treatment. The worst part is the wait for your appointment.
Treatment
During the treatment, the CoolSculpting® applicator is secured to your treatment area, or if you’re having DualSculpting to treat two areas at once, a second applicator is affixed according to your treatment plan. The rest is easy. You sit back, relax, and let the CoolSculpting® system transform your body. In less than an hour, you’re ready to get back to your normal, everyday schedule.
During the procedure, you’ll feel the pressure of the vacuum and the cooling as the system goes to work. The mild discomfort you may feel when the cooling first begins will give way to numbness relatively quickly. CoolSculpting® patients often read, catch up on email, or browse social media during the procedure. Some even nap.
Aftercare
Once the cooling process is finished, our CoolSculpting® Masters Clinical trained specialist Lynda will massage the area to optimize results and aid in the lymphatic system’s removal of the crystallized fat cells. One of the best things about CoolSculpting® is little to no downtime. This means that you can get back to your typical daily activities straight away. You may experience some tenderness, redness, skin blanching, and swelling following your treatment, but these do resolve on their own within a few days of your treatment. Over-the-counter pain management like ibuprofen can minimize these discomforts.
