How Many Laser Hair Removal Treatments Will I Need?
Laser hair removal generally requires a series of treatments because of how hair grows. At any time, some follicles are in a resting state, not growing hair. These follicles are invisible to the laser. Most people need six to eight treatments, although each person’s hair has a different growth cycle. Spacing sessions four to six weeks apart allows more follicles to become active.
What Results Will I See After Laser Hair Removal?
After each session, the treated follicles will shed their hair, and it will not regrow. After a series of treatments, you can enjoy lasting hair-free skin. Most people will see an occasional stray hair. These can be easily managed with a maintenance treatment as needed. Hairs that do reappear usually look finer and paler than before. Some people do not require a touch-up for years.
Am I a Good Candidate for Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is safe and effective for many people. However, it works best for those with lighter skin and darker hair.
