What Is A Liquid Facelift?

Are the common signs of aging creeping up on you? Perhaps you are beginning to notice forehead lines and those “elevens” between the eyes. Maybe you looked in the mirror and noticed lines around your mouth, commonly called laugh lines. Fine lines around the eyes and mouth develop over time causing us to look prematurely older and tired. Most people do not want to jump directly into a surgical facelift at the first signs of aging, but what can they do? Here at Juvanew Medspa, we have a fantastic, non-surgical treatment for common signs of aging called the Liquid Facelift!

What Is a Liquid Facelift?

A Liquid facelift involves using a combination of Botox and dermal fillers to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Botox is used on the lines that develop due to repetitive muscle movements such as raising the eyebrows, squinting, smiling, and more. Dermal fillers help by adding volume and contour to the other areas that are losing structural support and collagen as we age. Fillers can also augment thinning lips. A Liquid Facelift can give structural support and contour to your face to restore a more youthful look. You can even look happier with a lift of drooping corners of the mouth and by filling forehead wrinkles. It’s the perfect facelift for people who want to avoid costly surgeries and lengthy recovery times.

How Long Does A Liquid Facelift Take?

The average treatment takes approximately an hour depending on the type of treatments being used. There is no downtime at all associated with a Liquid Facelift, but some patients report bruising and swelling at the injection site that goes away within a couple of days. Patients typically begin to see the results within one or two weeks with the final results appearing in just three weeks.

How Long Will A Liquid Facelift Last?

Your results will last from 6 to 12 months, depending on what treatments are used. Botox works by blocking the nerve signals in the muscles around the injection site. When the nerve signals are blocked, the muscles are temporarily frozen and lines and wrinkles that are associated with facial expressions will not appear. Botox injections last from 3 to 6 months. Dermal Fillers are natural substances that are designed to be injected beneath the surface of the skin to add volume and fullness. These dermal fillers can last from 6 to 18 months and sometimes longer.

Your physician will devise a treatment plan that is best for you including a follow-up maintenance plan that will give you the best benefits!

Amanda and Terry are super skilled at all of their services. I have been so impressed with how well they do injections and highly recommend them. They are up to speed on the latest treatments and excellent at tailoring a treatment specifically for you. The customer service is amazing. Lynda is fantastic and is super helpful with any questions that you might have and is a true asset to Juvanew. I have used many other services in NY and living out of country and it can be difficult to find someone that you can trust to be honest and make sure that you don’t have that overdone look. I am very particular about the placement of Botox and finally have found someone in TX that knows what they are doing. Juvanew is 5 stars plus!
