How Does Restylane® Lyft Work?
Restylane® Lyft is an FDA-approved anti-aging injectable that uses a thicker hyaluronic acid (HA) gel to augment the cheek areas (thus adding facial volume) and also treat aging hands. Restylane Lyft is an excellent and versatile dermal filler, as it can be used to treat laugh lines, cheek wrinkles, and even minimize the appearance of prominent wrinkles on older hands.
Am I a Good Candidate For Restylane® Lyft?
You’re a good candidate for Restylane® Lyft if you have moderate wrinkles around your mouth and cheeks. Candidates may also want to correct the appearance of thinning skin and prominent veins on their hands. You should be a healthy non-smoker with realistic expectations for this procedure.
How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
You should expect to spend anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes in your Restylane® Lyft session. During this treatment, Restylane® Lyft will be injected into your desired treatment area, which should add almost-immediate volume and correct persistent wrinkles.
What Results Will I See?*
You should start seeing your final results about one to two weeks after your Restylane® Lyft injection. These results last about 12 to 18 months, thanks to the thicker HA gel formula.
Is There Any Downtime?
There’s no downtime associated with your Restylane® Lyft injection, so you can continue with your normal routine. However, you may experience some slight tenderness, redness, bruising and swelling at the treatment site; this is normal and usually disappears after about 48 to 72 hours. You should also avoid heavy exercise during the first 24 hours after your treatment, as that could cause the newly hyaluronic acid gel to spread.
