How Does CoolSculpting Work?*
CoolSculpting® is an FDA-approved device that harnesses the power of freezing technology to damage stubborn fat cells that lurk beneath the surface of the dermis. This freezing energy is delivered via a handheld device, which is held on the surface of the skin. The energy permeates the skin’s surface and crystallizes the fat cells underneath the dermis. Over time, the crystallized fat cells are removed by the body’s metabolic processes, resulting in noticeable inch loss at the treatment site.

Ideal candidates should be healthy non-smokers who have realistic expectations for this treatment.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?*
A typical treatment takes about one hour per treatment area to perform. If you opt for DualSculpting, you’ll be able to get two body areas treated within that same hour-long timespan. During this treatment session, you’ll be able to read, surf on your phone, or even take a nap!
You should start seeing initial results about four to twelve weeks after your first CoolSculpting® session; however, most clients need about two to three treatments to see their ideal results. These results can last for a significant period of time, provided that clients continue to follow a healthy lifestyle.

Is There Any Downtime?*
There’s no downtime associated with CoolSculpting® treatments, so your schedule won’t experience an interruption. However, you may experience some slight tenderness, redness, and swelling at the treatment site; this is normal and usually disappears after about two weeks.
